Marian Hyatt Sbar was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1998. She attended Vanderbilt University (B.A., 1992), University of Florida (M.A., with Honors, 1995) and Stetson University (J.D., with Honors, 1998). She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and The Florida Bar. Her transactional practice encompasses a broad range of areas, including federal and state securities law, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Rocke, McLean & Sbar, P.A., she served as Vice President and General Counsel for Advantec, a privately held professional employer organization in Tampa, Florida, and as General Counsel of CoAdvantage, a national professional employer organization. Currently, she acts as general outside corporate counsel for numerous private companies, advising management concerning corporate governance, contracts, regulatory issues, and business related transactions. Her experience includes employment contracts, acquisitions, non-competition, private placements, and shareholder agreements.
